This depends on which plan you choose. We monitor the battery every time the band communicates with the database so we can always be confident in its status:
- Yearly Plan: When a yearly plan is renewed a new band insert – a puck – is sent out to replace the old one. A return envelope will be supplied to return the old one for recycling.
- Monthly plan: When we detect the battery charge is coming to an end, you will be sent a brand new band insert – a puck – to replace the old one. This is included in the monthly service plan fee and there is no additional charge.
