What happens when the battery does run out?

This depends on which plan you choose. We monitor the battery every time the band communicates with the database so we can always be confident in its status:

  • Yearly Plan: When a yearly plan is renewed a new band insert – a puck – is sent out to replace the old one. A return envelope will be supplied to return the old one for recycling.
  • Monthly plan: When we detect the battery charge is coming to an end, you will be sent a brand new band insert – a puck – to replace the old one. This is included in the monthly service plan fee and there is no additional charge.
